Jofie first joined our firm in 2019 as a paralegal. She completed her traineeship with us from 2021 to 2023. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Sussex (UK) in 2017 and Post Graduate Certificate of Laws (PCLL) from the University of Hong Kong in 2021.
Prior to her practice as a qualified solicitor, Jofie also commenced her pupillage in 2024 and has gone through in-depth advocacy training, especially in criminal defence, matrimonial proceedings and personal injuries claims. She therefore possesses additional advocacy experience and advanced legal drafting skills.
Before she joined our firm in 2019, she worked in a boutique law firm focusing on commercial litigation as well as corporate and regulatory compliance. She also had experience in handling intellectual property litigation before joining us.
She is passionate in litigation works and contentious matters. She is currently handling various matters ranging from Criminal Defence, Matrimonial Disputes, Contractual and Commercial Disputes, Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, Medical Negligence Claims, Wills and Probate and Judicial Review.
In her spare time, she enjoys water sports, tennis and gym.
