Jonathan was admitted to practice as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2004. He joined the firm in 2005.

Jonathan specializes in representing individuals, corporations, non-profit organizations and NGOs in civil litigation, criminal matters, administrative and constitutional law proceedings, judicial review applications and matrimonial proceedings.  He has experience in advising and representing clients at all levels of the Courts of Law : from Magistracy Courts, District Court to Magistracy Appeals, Court of Appeal and Court of Final Appeal.

He represents individuals and corporations faced with investigation and prosecution by law enforcement and regulatory authorities.

Jonathan appears as an advocate in the Magistrates’ Courts, the District Court and Disciplinary Tribunals, Coroners’ Inquests, various tribunals and boards of government departments and professional bodies.

Jonathan represents and advising clients in judicial review applications against the decisions of various governmental departments and branches, regulators, professional bodies and bodies formed under statue.  He represents clients in lodging Election Petitions for all levels of elections in Hong Kong.

His practice also encompasses non-contentious matters including probate, conveyancing and commercial transactions.

He is currently on the list of lawyers for the Duty Lawyers’ Scheme and is on the Legal Aid Panels of both the Criminal List and Civil List of the Legal Aid Department.

Jonathan has provided many pro bono services to individuals, organizations, groups during his legal practice.  He was awardee of the Recognition Scheme for Provision of Pro Bono Legal Services by the Home Affairs Bureau in the year of 2015 in appreciation of the pro bono legal services he rendered.

He is also the legal adviser to many non-profit organizations and NGOs, including Professional Teachers’ Union, Hong Kong Blind Union, E-Commerce Association of Hong Kong and The Computer Ethics Society.   He is also a part-time tutor of the law faculty at the University of Hong Kong.
